AITIA Doll Use & Maintena FAQ

Do I need to clean the doll if it hasn’t been used? How often should I clean it?

Yes, even if the doll is not used, regular maintenance is still required. It’s recommended to clean the doll every 1 to 2 weeks to prevent dust accumulation and surface oxidation. After washing, dry thoroughly and apply a light layer of baby powder or renewal powder to keep the silicone skin smooth and well-preserved.

What should I pay attention to when cleaning and maintaining my AITIA doll?

  • Avoid soaking or scrubbing large areas. Clean the body gently by patting with a soft cloth instead of rubbing.
  • Head: Wipe only the non-makeup areas with wet wipes. Do not use water or chemical cleaners on the face or makeup zone.
  • Powdering: Apply and pat a thin, even layer of baby powder after drying. Skipping regular powdering may cause the surface to become sticky and lose elasticity over time.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, strong acids or alkalis, and sharp objects, as they may damage the silicone surface or color.

The wig feels loose — how can I fix it?

Each AITIA wig comes with an adjustable elastic strap at the back. Simply tighten or loosen it to fit the doll’s head circumference. Avoid pulling too hard to prevent tearing. For cleaning, use shampoo and conditioner, then let the wig air dry naturally.

Will the makeup come off? Can I redo the makeup myself?

The doll’s makeup is professionally sealed and will not fade under normal use. If you wish to change the makeup, you can gently remove it with makeup remover and reapply cosmetics as desired.

Are there cleaning restrictions for heated or smart models?

Yes. Heating or voice-enabled dolls should not be showered or submerged in water. Instead, use a soft damp towel with mild body wash to wipe the body, and keep the neck connector area completely dry to avoid damage to internal electronics.

Is it normal for the doll to release a bit of oil?

Yes, slight oil secretion is normal for silicone dolls. Simply wipe with a soft cloth, dry thoroughly, and apply baby powder every 1–2 weeks to keep the surface smooth and well-balanced.

The buttocks look slightly deformed after being pressed — is that normal?

Yes. AITIA dolls use high-resilience silicone materials that naturally recover shape over time. You can place a soft cushion under the hips and let the doll rest — it will return to its original form after a short period. Long-term storage does not cause permanent deformation.
